Merry Christmas!

We want to wish all of our dear friends and family
a wonderful and merry Christmas!
Although this year has had it's share of heartbreak,
we are still very grateful for the blessings
that it has also brought to us.
We are so thankful for all the love and support
that we receive from everyone year round.
May God bless you and yours this Christmas and New Year!

Lincoln and his "choo-choo twack"

For the past couple of months, Lincoln has been obsessed (that's putting it lightly) with Thomas the Tank Engine. He loves the "gween" one, which is Percy (that's also his choice for little brother's name). When I pick him up from Nana's it was always "I want choo-choo", now all I hear is "I want choo-choo twack" (thanks to Aunt Jeannie). He can literally sit there for a good hour and watch the trains go around and push each other or pull each other. He does eventually get bored and rips the whole track apart and just watches the trains fight each other (at least that's what he calls it). Here are some pictures of him with his choo-choo twack. Please dismiss the dirty face but note the cute hat that he wore the whole time he was playing.

We also went to the doctor on Monday for his 2-year check-up. He is a whopping 22 lbs. 4 oz., which puts him in the less than 3rd percentile for his age. Everything else was good except for that she wants him to fatten up. I'm not too concerned, he eats a ton and has a little belly. Give the kid a break! I have been warned that I need to keep up the blogging more regularly so I will try to do my best. Hope that everyone is staying somewhat stress free and enjoying all the important things of the holidays.

Question

What do you do when it's 8:00 pm and you are 4 months pregnant?

What do you do when you're 4 months pregnant and exhausted and your now very opinionated 2-year old insists on having strawberry and chocolate milk?

Food for thought.

We're having a............!

So, we had our 3rd visit with Dr. Williamson today and everything is going well. He was able to tell what we are going to have. Take a look and see if you can figure it out. I knew as soon as he got the good angle shot (right between the legs and butt up). Yes, those of you that guessed boy got it right. Dr. Williamson said that he was quite a "proud little boy". The arrow is pointing at the you know what. We are so excited that Lincoln will have a little brother to play with!

Here is a good profile shot. He has quite some prominent features for being only 14 1/2 weeks old, isn't technology amazing!

I will keep everyone updated on how this little guy is growing. At this point, all is well in baby land.

Lincoln is TWO!

It doesn't seem like that long ago that we brought home an under 6-lb. sweet baby boy from the hospital. It is now 2 years later and we have a rambunctious, fun, choo-choo loving little man. Here is a brief view of how he has grown.

Here is Lincoln when he was just a few days old. He was so tiny that we had to go out and buy preemie outfits just so he could wear something that didn't swallow him.

This is Lincoln at six months. Love the ears, they are a Tiem trademark.

Here is Lincoln enjoying his 1st birthday cake. He was a little overwhelmed by the situation and I think enjoyed himself more this year.

This is Lincoln at 18 months, the difference between these two pictures is amazing. This must have been when he grew out of his baby look.

And this is our little Lincoln just this morning. He was getting ready to enjoy a birthday cinnamon roll.

Lincoln, we love you very much and wish you the happiest birthday ever. You have brought such a joy into our lives. We are continually amazed by all the wonderful things that you do. You are a smart, handsome, and loving little man. Your daddy and I will always love you, forever and always!
