A boy and his hats

Lincoln loves to put anything on his head and wear it as a hat. When I say anything, I mean, but am not limited to, butter tubs, colanders, and most recently small boxes. I walked into the room to find him playing with this on his head like it was no big deal.

He then got mad at me for making him stop playing and take his picture. I repositioned the box and he thought that I was taking it. He has quite the mind of his own and is very stubborn.

Sunday was also my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday, mom! She is wonderful and does so much for all of us, we love her very much. I know this birthday is tough because it's one of the many first holidays that she is experiencing without my dad. We tried to keep her mind off by keeping her busy with Lincoln (not too hard to do).

Well, that's the latest and the greatest, just thought I would share some of the funny sides of Lincoln. Until next time!

Lincoln- 18 months

Lincoln finally made it in for his 18 month check-up. He weighs in at whopping 21 lbs 9 oz, which only puts him in the 4th percentile and he is 32 1/4 in. long, which is the 50th percentile. He had to give blood for an allergy test and he was amazingly good. He squirmed but never cried and was kind of amazed by the blood going into the vial. Well, we found out that he is allergic to dogs (sorry Dutchess), eggs, milk, and peanuts but only mildly to all 4. It's a good thing that it's not severe, he wouldn't be able to eat anything. Here are a few pictures of the current Lincoln.

Enjoying a spatula of leftover cool whip (I think this was also about 9:00 am, oops)

As you can tell, he loves the water. I guess we should get him a pool so he doesn't have to swim in a bucket.

A Family Blog

Well, the Lolibaby blog has been going so well that I thought it was time to start a more personal site that was just about our family. Just for those who are tuning in with us, we are currently a family of 3. Ryan and I were highschool sweethearts who have been married for almost 5 years. We have a wonderful, energetic 1 1/2 year old boy named Lincoln. We are still living in Broken Arrow, a city that I love and will probably stick around in. We both work in town, I'm a physical therapist and Ryan works for Fed Ex. That catches most everything up. I will attempt to get down a good once a week schedule, so stay tuned, you never know what kind of exciting things might take place.
